WEDDING STYLED SHOOT | SOPHIE ROSE BRIDAL
I am a creative through and through. Academic subjects at school were definitely not my forte! So when I was asked to join Sophie Rose Bridal and a whole team of creatives for a styled shoot, I was completely in my element. When working with like minded people, beautiful things happen and boy did they happen on this shoot!
Sophie Rose Bridal was established in 2018 by British designer Sophie Rose Bellchambers. Sophie describes her style as “effortless, ethereal wedding gowns for the contemporary bride'“ When approaching the hair and make-up it was really important to Sophie that we kept things effortless, yet contemporary.
I achieved the look by creating a flawless, fresh faced skin. Defined the eyes with soft neutral toned eyeshadow and a smudged kohl liner. The lips were also kept soft with a pink toned nude. I created soft waves in the hair and loosely pinned it into a half up style. This was then finished off with a hair piece that was created by, the ever so talented Hannah Berry, at Hannah Berry Flowers.
Hannah Berry Flowers are unique, not only because of Hannah’s bespoke approach to flower design, but because she has such an individual style unlike any florist I have ever worked with. Hannah’s inspiration for the shoot was, a wild and free flowing, bohemian style to compliment Sophie’s dress design. I think you’ll agree that her designs are truly a work of art.
Of course a shoot would not be a shoot, without pictures! The talented duo behind these beauties, are none other than, The Springles, husband and wife - COMPLETE COUPLE GOALS, Ash and Kat! Their relaxed approach to photography completely encapsulates the natural beauty we have all around us. The shoot took place in a few locations, one being a derelict barn. As the sun shone through the broken windows, Kat and Ash captured the moment so beautifully. It really did feel like we had stepped inside a tiny little gem!
I’d just like to finish this post by saying a massive thank you to the whole team, you were all such a pleasure to work with. Each and everyone of you have such a skill set of talents, which makes working in the wedding industry such a joy!
